Eyewitness

The policeman arrived at the scene of an accident to find that a car had struck a telephone pole. Searching for witnesses, he discovered a pale, nervous young man in work clothes who claimed he was an eyewitness.
"Exactly where were you at the time of the accident?" inquired the officer.
"Mister," exclaimed the telephone lineman, "I was at the top of the pole!"

Một cánh sát đến hiện trường một vụ tai nạn giao thông thì thấy chiếc xe hơi đâm vào một cột điện thoại. Lúc đi tìm nhân chứng, ông phát hiện ra một người thanh niên mặt tái xanh, hoảng sợ, mặc đồ bảo hộ lao động. Anh nói mình đã chứng kiến vụ tai nạn.
"Chính xác là anh ở đâu lúc tai nạn xảy ra?" viên cảnh sát hỏi.
"Thưa ông," người thợ đường dây điên thoại kêu lên, "Lúc ấy tôi ở trên đầu cột điện
